Ox Creek is the dirtiest creek in Southwest Michigan. It is also one of the dirtiest in Michigan. Water is meandering through an ocean of concrete and asphalt around Pipestone Road in Southwest Michigan that allows rainwater and pollutants to pour into tributaries ending up in Lake Michigan.
We designed a movement that rallied a region to take action for clean water. “Sustain Ox Creek” will enhance the quality of life in Benton Township by improving environmental vitality and supporting regional economic growth. A broad-based public engagement framework was created as a part of region-wide effort to make simple improvements so we can slow it down, spread it out, and soak it in, naturally.
