AVA Gold Awards Announced

BENTON HARBOR, MI – January 29, 2020 – The Southwest Michigan Planning Commission of Benton Harbor, MI, one of fourteen regional planning and development organizations in the State of Michigan, today announced it received two AVA Gold Digital Awards and one Honorable Mention by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP).

SWMPC received a Gold Award for its web-based production of a website – Government Category for “BetterBeachesSWMI.org”; a Gold Award for its digital video creation – Animation Category for  “Cleaner Water Better Beaches; An Initiative to Improve Water Quality”; and an Honorable Mention for video production -  Environment Issues Category for “Water: Slow it down, spread it out, soak it in!” for the Sustain Ox Creek Watershed initiative.
